This seems odd to me. I know that Schneider is likely only a rental, so I suppose that Kaberle would fill a void in the top 4 for next year (Pronger just isn't happening). The problem I'd have is that the team already has a pretty decent top 4 for this season, so if they're going to move players to try and improve the team for a Cup run this year than an impact forward would make a lot more sense than another body on defence wouldn't it?
